Accessibility Standards

Jay Media is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we aim to go beyond minimum compliance whenever feasible.

  • Maintain a minimum 7:1 color contrast ratio for text and interface elements
  • Use scalable, responsive typography based on rem units
  • Enable full site functionality with keyboard-only navigation
  • Structure all content with semantic HTML and proper heading hierarchy
  • Avoid autoplaying media, flashing content, or motion effects that may cause harm
  • Present information in clear, structured, and plain language

Multimedia & Motion

This website currently does not use video, animation, or background motion. If multimedia content is added in the future, it will include appropriate captions, transcripts, alt text, and motion-reduction options where applicable.

Limitations & Third-Party Tools

Some third-party tools (e.g., contact forms, maps, embedded content) may not fully meet WCAG standards. We evaluate these tools for accessibility impact and seek alternative implementations when possible.
